About us

TimeDrip AB TimeDrip AB is a watch grey-market dealer that often trades in bulk with both new and pre-owned inventory within the EU. Through large, regular purchases we can offer competitive prices on TAG Heuer Quartz.

Every watch is delivered in its original box together with a warranty card that serves as proof of authenticity. We inspect every watch before it's shipped to you.

Our 2-year warranty

Since we are not an authorised TAG Heuer retailer, watches are not covered by TAG Heuer's official 5-year warranty through us. Instead we provide our own warranty of 2 years from the delivery date – this applies as a TimeDrip warranty.

What the warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects in the movement and its internal components.
  • Faults in the case, crown and pushers that can be traced to a manufacturing defect.
  • Functional faults in the dial, hands and crystal not caused by external impact.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Battery replacement – quartz movements run on batteries and normal consumption isn't covered. If the battery is dead on arrival, however, it will be replaced within the warranty period.
  • Damage to the crystal, bracelet, strap or case caused by impact, scratches or improper care.
  • Water damage if the crown wasn't screwed in or the watch wasn't used according to the instructions.
  • Modifications or repairs carried out by a party other than TimeDrip AB.

How to make a claim

  1. Contact us as soon as possible at kontakt@timedrip.se and describe the fault. Please attach photos or a video.
  2. We review the case and get back to you within 1–3 business days.
  3. If the claim is approved, we cover return shipping and fix the fault, or replace the watch with an equivalent one if needed.

The warranty only applies to watches purchased directly through TimeDrip AB that have not been tampered with or serviced by unauthorised parties. We exclusively sell quartz movements; solar and Connected models are not part of our range.

Pricing, product condition and margin scheme taxation

Our comparison prices are based on TAG Heuer's official recommended prices on tagheuer.com. Since these prices are sometimes listed in USD, they are converted into Swedish kronor. The comparison price is therefore an estimate and may be affected by exchange rates, taxes and price differences between markets.

TimeDrip's prices are shown in Swedish kronor and are the total prices paid by the private customer. Our lowest selling price for a TAG Heuer watch is SEK 9,990. Price can vary depending on model, purchase price, availability and whether the model is still part of TAG Heuer's current lineup or discontinued.

Part of our range consists of older stocked watches that have previously been sold or distributed within the EU. The watches may be unused and still in very good or new condition, while TAG Heuer's original manufacturer warranty may have partly or fully expired. Each watch's actual condition, accessories and any remaining manufacturer warranty are stated or confirmed before purchase.

When both the item and TimeDrip's purchase meet the requirements of the Swedish VAT Act, the margin scheme for second-hand goods (VMB) is applied. Under these rules, tax is calculated on the reseller's profit margin instead of VAT being charged separately on the full sale price.

The Swedish Tax Agency clarifies the following:

"If the seller charged VAT on the invoice when you bought the item, you may not use the margin scheme."

TimeDrip therefore only applies the margin scheme when the conditions for the specific watch and the documented purchase are met. If ordinary VAT was charged on TimeDrip's purchase, standard VAT rules apply instead.

When selling under the margin scheme, no separate VAT amount is stated on the invoice or receipt. The buyer therefore cannot deduct any input VAT. In these cases, the sales document is marked with:

Margin scheme taxation for second-hand goods.

The margin scheme does not affect the private customer's statutory consumer protection. TAG Heuer's voluntary manufacturer warranty is separate from the right to claim under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen 2022:260). When a private individual buys from TimeDrip, there is a right to claim for original defects for up to three years from purchase, even if the manufacturer's warranty has expired.

Feel free to contact us for the current price, delivery time, condition, contents and warranty information for the model you're interested in.
